During a midnight stroll through the city, the various textured expressions of the buildings were beautifully highlighted by the moonlight.
Water stains, weathered walls, and a sense of time.
While painting, I rotated the canvas 90 degrees clockwise. The red in the painting represents myself taking a walk, and the yellow represents the moon. Can you sense the ground line is also present?
As an abstract painting, when I rotated the canvas 90 degrees around the semi-clock when balancing it at the end, the painting looked great.
That is the beauty of abstract painting. It brings the weathered, time-worn texture of the outside into the room and decorates it. It is very atmospheric.
